Martinswerk reactive grade alumina powders are
processed for use as a reactive binder in various
applications. Technical ceramics, structural
ceramics electronic substrates and refractory
shapes. With a crystal size of less than 2 microns,
the Martinswerk reactive grade alumina powders
have an Al2O3 content of
at least 99.7%.

| MR32 -
High compression super ground alumina as a reactive
binding component for shaped and unshaped refractory
products as well as for technical ceramics. Average
particle size 1.3-1.7 microns. |
|
| |
|
| MR41 - Suitable for
oxide ceramics with very high Al2O3.
Particularly well suited for casting and extrusion
based processes,
due to the tailor made distribution. A highly reactive
binding agent for shaped refractories. |
|
| |
|
| MR42 -
Well suited for oxide ceramics demanding an extremely
high Al2O3 content. With
an average particle size of 1.5-3.0 microns and <0.1%
Na2O this powder
is a highly reactive binding agent for technical
ceramics. |
|
| |
|
| MR52 - With an average
particle size of 0.8-1.5 microns this powder was
developed for wear resistant oxide ceramics requiring
a high Al2O3. Excellent for
processes using isostatic and axial pressing techniques.
Ideal for injecting
molding of alumina parts. |

|
|
| MR70 -
This MgO doped powder was developed for thick and
thin film electronic substrate tape casting applications.
This 99.8% Al2O3 content
makes this an excellent selection for technical
ceramics parts subjected
to extreme wear, mechanical, thermal, chemical
and electrical demands. Yields excellent sintering
properties for technical ceramics. Average particle
size of 0.5-0.7 microns. |
